This will be your best chance to visit very close CUMBRE VIEJA -TAJOGAITE volcano. This mini hike of 5km down to almost the crater will give you some amazing views of this new volcano in La Palma and also the flows in the Aridane Valley.

This route begins at El Pilar. We start with a stong ascends to almost 2000 meters. The best view to see the new volcano Cumbre Vieja will the today. Other crater like Hoyo Negro and Duraznero will be waiting for us along this hike in the GR 131. Another epic volcano and spectacular crater like Martin volcano will be along the way before we finish in the town of Los Canarios, in the municipality of Fuencaliente.
