Visit the Northern coast of La Palma, visit the forgotten villages of San Bartolo with it´s wonderfull viewpoint. Visit Los Sauces, the heart of the North and visit the historic village of San Andrés, surranded by banana plantations.
During the summer month we also visit, Fajana de Barlovento, really quiet natural pools by Barlovento and to finish of the day with a relaxing swimm, jump in the blue water of Charco Azul. This area is surranded by local fish restaurants where you will have time to eat if you like.
Description
This excursion along the North coast of La Palma is a unique opportunity to get to know one of the most beautiful areas of the island and the natural pools on the coast where we will also have time to swim in the Charco Azul.
We begin the excursion in the tourist area of Los Cancajos where most of the tourists are and after making the last pickup in the Santa Cruz area and passing in front of the famous Balcones we head towards the Northeast of La Palma.
Along the way we will visit such interesting places as the town of San Bartolo and its viewpoint of the lover, from where we can see the Valley of Los Sauces to San Andrés with its impressive banana area.
After this stop we will go to the town of Los Sauces where we will stop to have a coffee in the center of the town and visit it.
We continue towards the La Fajana de Barlovento Pool, surrounded by immense cliffs and on days with high waves a true spectacle.
After this visit we will go to the well-known Charco Azul pools. The road that takes us there crosses between some of the best banana farms on the island of La Palma.
Once in Charco Azul, there is free time to swim, eat in one of the restaurants in the area and if anyone is interested, visit the Rum factory in the area as well.
